Pricing
If appropriate, fees may be reduced at the discretion of Keira Roffey-Mitchell. Please email or call us regarding a more in depth breakdown of the costs.
Cancellations
Please note that we do have a 48hr cancellation policy. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48hrs notice you will be charged the full fee of the appointment - no medicare or private health rebate available for cancellations.
Initial Appointment
$325
An initial appointment goes for 1.5hrs. This allows Keira to get a firm understanding of what is needed and how she can help in the best way possible. It also give your and/or your child to see if Keira is the right fit for you or your child.
Therapy/ Intervention
$220/hr
Typically after the initial appointment, each session is 1 hour long. If needed Keira will talk to the parent/ caregiver to see how they have been and then the rest of the session is for the child.
Assessments
$220/hr
Depending on the type assessment, the sessions can range from 1hr, 1.5hrs and 2hrs, and we only complete these on weekday To complete all the necessary assessments it can take 4-6 sessions depending on the type of assessment. Please note that if proformas are needed to help complete the assessments they are an additional $10 each.
Reports + Letters
$500-$1000 (report) + $220 (feedback session)
$50 - $400 (letter)
After all the assessments are completed, Keira needs 4-6 weeks to complete the report. Keira will then have a session with the parents/ caregivers to discuss the report and findings.
Meeting with Schools or other providers
Medicare, Private Fee and NDIS
If you or your child requires our practitioners to meet with a school or other practitioner we may charge to NDIS. or if you are not an NDIS participant you will have to pay according to our hourly rates.
NDIS Participants
NDIS Rates
We charge $220/hr which is under the NDIS hourly rate for a psychologist. This is the same for school/ meetings with other providers, travel time letters and reports. We charge for the amount of time times the rate. For therapy assistants the we also the charge the NDIS hourly rate which is $87.69/hr. However, please note that we are not NDIA registered so we are only able to take on self and plan managed clients
Private Health and Medicare Rebates
You can either use private health to help reduce the fee (the amount will depend on your cover and insurance provider). You may also use a mental health care plan from your GP if you wish to get one. The Mental Health Care Plan allows up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a rebate of $96.55.
